Who we are
FloorCut is operated by Pro-Fit Floor Coverings, the data controller for personal data processed through the service. Contact us at support@floorcut.co.uk.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, business/job details you enter). Plan data (room measurements, customer names/addresses you choose to add). Billing data is handled by Stripe — we store a Stripe customer reference and subscription status, not your full card number. Basic technical/usage data (device, pages, via cookies/analytics).
How we use it
To provide and improve the service, create your plans and PDFs, process your subscription, provide support, and for security and fraud prevention. We rely on contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to run and improve it) and consent (for optional analytics).
Processors we use
Stripe (payments), Supabase (database & storage), Vercel (hosting). We use Meta (Facebook) advertising tools/pixel to measure and improve our ads. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
Sharing
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the processors above, or where required by law. Customer details you enter are processed only to provide the service to you.
Retention
We keep account and plan data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal/accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your data (subject to those obligations).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these, email support@floorcut.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and analytics/advertising cookies (including the Meta pixel) to understand usage and measure ads. You can control non-essential cookies via your browser settings.
